About Tawandang Microbrewery

From an initiative to create the first Thai-German microbrewery that serves original German beer in Thailand, Tawandang German Brewery was first launched on Rama III Road, Bangkok on 10 September, 1999.

With nice Thai food and German beer, your hunger and thirst would be satisfied. Another selling point about this restaurant was the friendly waiter and waitresses. They always served with a smile. Also, they had a live band playing there and how much can one ask for to have a good dinner. They did not have the widest selection of beers but the one I had tried was very smooth and easy to drink. It is also not too gassy. A must order is the pork knuckle, it goes so well with beer. Another item is the steamed fish, eat it with the sauce and you may want to order a second helping.”
