ABOUT EN JAPANESE DINING BAR

A very first venture for the group, En Japanese Dining Bar was started in December 2000. Proving to be an instant hit among its pool of customers and faithful patrons, a 2nd outlet in Singapore was opened in 2007 that now reaches to a neighborhood audience in Bukit Timah as well. The 3rd outlet at Parco Marina Bay was officially open in 2012. The 4th outlet was introduced in February 2014 located at Alocassia Apartments.

Specializing in our forte Okinawa cuisine, our menu is without a doubt composed of authentic ingredients from Okinawa itself. Due to its history & difference in culture from mainland Japan, its influence from the American troops and close proximity to Taiwan, coupled with its tropical climate makes it vividly different from the norm and a guarantee that you will get a taste of something delightfully different yet friendly. Okinawa diet has also been known for its health benefit as well as longevity amongst its people. En Japanese Dining Bar builds upon the concept of modern Japanese dining bars known affectionately to the locals as ‘Izakaya’, are extremely popular among the cosmopolitan crowd in Japan.

The Alocassia Apartments outlet boasts up to 2,400sqft space of Japanese authenticity. Importing its interior decor items from Okinawa that includes traditional stenciled textile and tatami mats, the Bukit Timah joint continues the company’s founding concept of the modern Japanese izakaya dining bars which mushroomed during cosmopolitan rise of the Land of the Rising Sun. Hosting up to five tatami rooms for private dining, the Alocassia restaurant also has a sushi and beverage bar where it serves its menu selections which are made with Okinawan-flown ingredients.
