About Jia Xiang Sarawak Kolo Mee
A flown-in recipe from the land of Kolo Mee is what makes food gourmands return to Jia Xiang Sarawak Kolo Mee time after time. Springy noodles and a fragrantly seasoned minced meat topping is what completes an old-fashioned bowl of Kolo Mee. Diners will also be spoit for choice by the other Sarawakian dishes available, such as Abalone Lettuce, Dry Wanton and Curry Chicken and Rice.
Jia Xiang Sarawak Kolo Mee Deal
The Gold Jia Xiang Kolo Mee from the titular Jia Xiang Kolo Mee is renowned for the tantalizing ‘elastic’ texture of its noodles. Deliciously mixed with a special soy sauce, the Gold Jia Xiang Kolo Mee teases with the fragrance of the sauce as well as the crispiness of the wanton skin. The wanton skin is smooth and thin to a crisp, serving a lovely contrast to the tenderness of the noodles. Succulent minced meat and fresh prawns are added to the dish for a tempting variety of ingredients. To top it off, the Gold Jia Xiang Kolo Mee includes slices of juicy abalone meat to offer more than just a bowl of springy noodles to customers.
Jia Xiang Sarawak Kolo Mee Reviews
“I have never been to Sarawak so there’s no way I could tell Jia Xiang’s authenticity, neither have I tried other brands (s of kolo mee in Singapore for a comparison. But Jia Xiang’s version suits me just fine, a comfort bowl of lard-drizzled, filling noodles in the comfort of air con. A regular haunt for me now!”
customer review
“The noodles are firm, springy and light, and don’t feel oily, which is a plus point. The minced meat is savoury and delicious. But most of all, I love the sweet and tender char siew, which is perfect in taste and texture… The food is good, and I really like the fact that the whole dish isn’t oily like your average dry-tossed noodle dish. Highly recommended with a lot of the sambal chilli!”
