“This cold garlic butter udon is a case in point. I figured that it was just the noodles that were served cold, but it turned out that the butter was cold too…and more surprisingly, the garlic was raw. It sounds kinda nasty, but it was uniquely satisfying, especially when the rich butter and pungent garlic was counterbalanced with a scoop of caviar. Granted, even I couldn’t stand being within a 50 foot radius of myself after eating so much raw garlic, but it was good.”

“We have been to MIZ Japanese Restaurant some time back, or rather, a long while back and revisited one afternoon for lunch. The one and only thing that caught both of our appetite was Chirashi Don. The rice’s portion was smaller than the usual Chirashizushi served in other Japanese restaurant, but the serving of salmon sashimi was a generous one! Apart from usual Japanese noodles and bento, they also have special set meal for the day. Be sure to find out what’s the lunch special for the day at a really affordable price! Operated by authentic Japanese chef, MIZ Japanese Restaurant makes a good place for lunch if you are craving for some Japanese fix!”

“I think the softshell crab handroll is one of the best ones I have eaten in Singapore. The batter of the crab was nice and evenly coated. This sushi chef cleverly used a roll of lettuce before placing the fried crab on the rice; My seaweed did not go all soft and soggy. Will come back for this!”
